I am a fairly good programmer and I do know quite a few useful stuffs about computers. Hope they will come in handy someday

Well..to be frank, i dont get much time to indulge in activities other than studying with the hectic schedule.....

I am a real big fan of Mrs. Rowling. Also Tolkien, Orhan Pamuk, Tagore, Wordsworth, Shakespeare, Asimov, Bibhutibhusan Bandopadhyay, Conan Doyle, Agatha Christie, Satyajit Ray, Jack London, Chetan Bhagat, Paolo Coelho(he's just awesome) are among my favourite authors. And I also really enjoy books by Christos Papadimitriou....

music:

Now thats one thing I am really passionate about. Started off with classical, progressed to heavy metal, then black n gothic metal and now shifting more towards progressive metal. My favourite bands include Cradle of Filth, Kamelot, Epica, Kalmah, Hammerfall, Angtoria, Poets of the Fall, Guano Apes,Incubus, Porcupine Tree,Evanescence, Rammstein, Type-O-Negative,The Corrs, System of a Down,Iron Maiden, Metallica, Dimmu Borgir,Greenday, P.O.D., GnR,Lacuna Coil,Napalm Death, CoB,Slayer, Slipknot, Rammstein,Spawn of Possession, RHCP,Sepultura,Moonspell, Marilyn Manson, Dead Can Dance, Iced Earth, Celtic Frost among the western bands and Dolores O'Riordan and Enrique Iglesius among the solo performers.
As for Eastern music, i am not much into it these days. But I love Strings, Jal, Fuzon, Roxen and I am a very big fan of the emerging band Dark Project.

tv shows:

Well..... of late i have started watching a few sitcoms like "The Big Bang Theory" and "How I Met Your Mother"... And I am a biiiig fan of anime like DB Franchise, Naruto, Get Backers, Ninja Robots...... apart from that nothing else..... and i say a firm "NO" to all the stupid reality shows...
